Until one day the proposal happens… and now? We have a wedding to plan!
One of the most important days of our lives has to be unforgettable and, of course, for the right reasons. Months or even years go into planning a single day to make it perfect. It has to be to the taste of the bride and groom, but the party is also for the guests.
There are so many things to think about and decide… try on a dress, take off a dress, hem it, change the lace, choose shoes, a bow tie, a suit or tailcoat, the color of the groomsmen, flowers in the church, flowers at the party, flowers in the bouquet, white or beige candles… and often there are few certainties. To make life easier for the bride and groom and to make this day memorable, the Convento do Espinheiro has several spaces for this day: the Church of Nossa Senhora do Espinheiro, the Salão D.Vasco, with capacity for 300 people, natural light and a view over the old olive grove, the 8-hectare gardens and the catering at the Divinus Restaurant, where the gourmet cuisine is simply wonderful.
In addition, our brides and grooms have the option of staying at the resort the day before and taking advantage of the opportunity to relax in our indoor and outdoor pools, play tennis or paddle tennis, work out in the gym or enjoy massages and treatments at our spa. Both the bride and groom and their guests can stay on the night of the wedding, so they can be the last to leave the party.
