Does the hotel have daily activities?
The Convento do Espinheiro offers a program of activities that varies throughout the week and the time of year. Available experiences may include guided tours of the convent, wine tastings, workshops, live music, and other activities.

What time is check-in? Is it possible to check in early?

Yes, there is a free outdoor car park where you will also find 6 electric charging points.
Where is the Hotel? How to get to the Hotel?
The Convento do Espinheiro Historic Hotel & Spa is located at the exit of Évora towards Estremoz, just 8 minutes from the city's historic center.

Car

The hotel is easily accessible by car, being located about 1h30 from Lisbon. From Lisbon, take the Vasco da Gama bridge and then continue along the A2 until the start of the A6. Continue on the A6 until the second exit for Évora (exit No. 6). GPS – latitude 38º. 36`. 3″ n / longitude = 7º . 53`. 18″ w / altitude = 278 meters.

Arrival by Train / Bus

If you are traveling by train or bus, the Évora station is about 10 minutes from the hotel. It is also possible to arrive by taxi or request a private transfer, upon advance reservation.
Does the hotel have a gym?
Yes. Our gym is open from 08:00 to 21:00 and offers different fitness equipment according to your preferences. For more information, please consult our Sports and health page.
What time is breakfast?
Buffet breakfast is served from 7:30 am to 10:30 am at the Divinus restaurant.
What are the restaurants? How do I book a restaurant?
Divinus – Open every day for dinner, between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM. We recommend advance reservation. Subject to availability.

Olive – Open for dinner every day except Tuesday and Wednesday, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. We recommend advance reservation. Subject to availability. Opening hours may vary depending on the time of year, so we recommend confirmation before your arrival, or at the Reception.

Bar Claustro – Open daily, Bar Claustro invites you to enjoy a relaxed meal, serving lunches, dinners and snacks throughout the day.

Pool Bar – Seasonal. During the summer months, it is open between 11:30 AM and 7:30 PM. Serves meals and snacks until 5:30 PM

How can I book a transfer from the airport to the Hotel?

Can cots and/or extra beds be added to the rooms?
Cots (up to 2 years old) can be added to the hotel rooms free of charge (subject to availability). An extra bed costs €65 per night/room, which includes towels, bathrobe, amenities and buffet breakfast for the additional person.
Does the resort have a pool?
We have a tranquil outdoor “infinity” pool surrounded by gardens and a bar (open seasonally) and a children’s pool next to the pool’s waterfall. We also have a heated indoor pool in the health club (swimming caps are mandatory; children under 16 are not admitted between 1pm and 7pm).
We provide one towel per day per person for use by the pools.

Is the hotel wheelchair friendly?
Yes. Convento do Espinheiro has adapted access and, whenever the structure of the historic building has allowed it, ramps have been installed to facilitate circulation. However, due to the architectural characteristics and heritage value of the building, some areas may have accessibility limitations.

The hotel has an adapted room in the Deluxe Garden View wing.

Is there free Wi-Fi?
Yes, the entire hotel is covered with free Wi-Fi. To access it, simply choose the user Convento Clientes. No password will be required.
